From December 6th to 8th, 2015, the Shan State Farmers’ Network and the residents of Nan Hailong Village gathered and held a prayer ceremony dedicated to Lon Sai Sam, who is considered a hero of Shan State farmers.

Fearing that their water sources will be affected by the negative effects of gold mining, the residents of Lon Sai Sam and Nan Hai Long villages went to see the water source and lost their lives when they were shot by the Burmese army.
